~March~

So as I said, heres my little update about my mocks:

1) They’re all done , finally! And 2) some went really well and some were worse than others. For example: I think my Spanish writing might have went well. But my biology?? A whole other story and not a good one at that.

Well, I wrote that on Wednesday night, but got some news on Friday…I have a D.T mock. Utterly devastating I can’t lie. And to make everything worse, it’s next Friday which gives me a literal week to prepare and revise for it not to mention though that i’m also going to be busy tomorrow trying to plan for my radio show which is on Tuesday. Any theme ideas?? I was thinking food theme but i’m open to suggestion and as well as my show, i’m working on my entry into the BBC young reporters competition which i also entered a few years ago and came runner up so i’m looking for that same result this year but I honestly think it would be so cool if I could win.

So yeah thats a little ‘first week of march’ update. Not the most interesting but I said i’d give an update so updating I am. Im really trying to stick to my resolution of writing more consistently and I think its sorta working🫣 Thats all for now and don’t forget to listen out for me on 104.7 rossendale radio on Wednesday morning!!

~Mock exams~

So this past week has been so very super excessively crazy. But not in a good way. This past week, i’ve had mock exams in preparation for my GCSE’s in May. The mocks have been pretty difficult so far and i’ve got another 7 next week. Please send help. I had some mocks in October 2022 and they went really well however I feel these ones aren’t going as well…

I think my best ones so far are: Spanish speaking and probably my Elizabethan history paper. My worst ones are: Maths and Biology. They just did not go well…like at all.

Surprisingly, I found English quite difficult and don’t think i’ve done super well which makes me giggle considering i’ve got a blog. I’ve got my English lit exam on Monday and it’s about Macbeth and A Christmas Carol so i’m not excited.

So yeah that all about this weeks mocks and i’ll give an update when i’ve finished them all.

Oh and i’m next on the radio on the 8th of march so let me know if you’ve got any show ideas and i’ll remind you closer to the time to be listening in !!!

~Holidays~

So guys.. its been a while. Ive been procrastinating writing a post and not to mention trying to think of what to write about. But finally, its February half term and i’ve got something to write about. Mocks and my friends birthday.

Since you last heard from me, 2 of my friends have turned 16 and we had two amazing parties. One consisted of lots of fun and singing and dancing and the other was a full-blown nostalgia, girly pamper night. They were both extremely fun and I cant wait for my 16th now (even though its a good 2 months away).

So what else has been going on in my life at the minute? Well these past few weeks, i’ve been on the hunt for my prom dress and guess what…I FOUND IT and even better, I LOVE IT. I personally think that it is absolutely stunning and is just so perfect for me. Im getting it altered next week and this week, me and my mum have spent every night creating pinterest boards full with the rest of look and all I can say is that I am so very extremely excited and I cant wait for the day to come. So big question now: would you like to see the dress??

Well unfortunately you cant… well not until prom so your gonna have to wait until then.

Not only is it nearly prom season its currently mock season. I have all of my second round of mocks coming up when i go back to school and believe me when i say that i am not excited at all. I did quite well in my last set of mocks and i think i’ll do alright in these ones- well I hope🤞 I also think its pretty crazy because after this set of mocks, we’ve got a couple of months and then my GCSEs start which to me is so crazy because I know that that time is going to go very very fast and before I know it i’m gonna be in college which is kind of unbelievable. Im both excited and nervous for college but neither of those matter at the minute because I first need to decide on whether im doing A-leves or T-level. Might do a post on that soon when i’ve decided and make it similar to when I picked my high school on tweenrogue… give you my top tips and how I made my decisions.

I’ll try my best to post more consistently, im so so sorry for being MIA.

~New year~

So its 2023. Wooo. Happy new year everybody. How are you all feeling about this year? Excited, nervous, scared, happy?? I personally feel quite excited however a little bit nervous at the same time. A LOT is going. To happen for me this year- a) i leave school this year and b) i start college. Its gonna be a roller coaster crazy ride of a year- ive got my gcses before i do any of that. But i’ve also got prom and stuff so very very excited for that.

Secondly, new year means a new years resolution and i’ve actually got a few:

To post on my blog more
To get fitter
To stop picking my lips

I think they’re all somewhat achievable especially the first one so be prepared your gonna be hearing a lot more from me on both here and possibly on socials if i make some content… any ideas anyone??

So yeah, thats what i have planned for this year and hopefully all of those go welL…back to school tomorrow and back to netball on wednesday.

~merry christmas~

So as we all know, christmas was 2 days ago so a big merry christmas to everyone hope the day was lovely and christmas was as merry as it could´ve possibly been. I know hat i had a lovely christmas, we had a very chilled relaxed day at my house and i honestly loved it.

And honestly what would this be without a christmas haul…

I am very, very grateful for everything i got and a big thank you is owed to those around me for making my christmas so amazing.

I also went on the radio on christmas day an did a 2 hour chistmas show where each link i did included a christmas joke and if you would like to hear me, if your blog dose isn’t enough, then you can listen back on the rossendale radio website- i was on 1-3 on christmas day and i’m on next on new years day 1-3 so listen out.

Hello everybody! Guess who’s back from her little break…

ME! So you last heard from me a few months ago when I was at Lake Como, Italy. So heres a whistle-stop tour in what I’ve been doing since then.

Back to school
October half term
Mock exams
Lots of friends birthdays
Halloween
Bonfire night

And theres lots more coming in the run-up to christmas. So oets start with back to school- im year 11 now so its a big year ahead of me. Ive been doing loads of GCSE practice stuff and also been choosing where i want to go for college and trying to plan the next step of my life after High School- Its crazy.

Part of the GCSE practice stuff is my mock exams. This past week has been non-stop hectic and crazy, its been full to the top loaded with exams and as the week has gone on its got more and more tiring. Only one next week but its the doomed physics!

As everyone knows its been halloween…yuck. For me personally chritsmas>halloween anyday of the week. But what do you think?

Then tonight is bonfire night so yesterday I went to a firework display with my family and then tonight im going to one with my friends- very exciting

~holiday~

So this week I went on holiday and let me tell you… it was so fun!!

I went on a staycation to Lincoln with my family and my best friend and her family too! We’ve been best friends for ages and went to Cornwall with each other last year so decided why not do it again. My family stayed in a lodge and her family stayed in one about 2 minutes walking distance away from us.

We travelled down on the Monday but on the way took a stop and watched Beach Volleyball at the CommonWealth Games in Birmingham and it was one of the best experiences I absolutely loved it and volleyball looks extremely fun.

After watching the games, we went on the rest of the journey to Lincoln and my friend there then we made pizza for tea and had a games night with both families. On Tuesday, we went out for lunch and then bowling and to an arcade which was just pure fun!

On the Wednesday, we went to a zoo and then we went on pedalo’s for a bit. I went with my friend and we raced our brothers around the lake which was hilarious especially when they hit us and couldn’t move the pedalo properly. Thursday has to have been one of the most exciting days because we did archery, swimming and water walking before getting a takeaway and having a final family games night playing card games and a logo game!

Thats my holiday summed up as short and sweet as possible! Im also going on holiday to Italy in a couple of weeks though so watch this space!

DofE

so these past few months jve been taking part in and award called the Duke Of Edinburgh Award. now if you dont know what this is.. basically its a program over the span of around 6 months. It includes 4 sections: volunteering, skill, physical and expedition.

To get my bronze DofE award, i have take part in each of them for 3 months, one for 6 and a 1night expedition. tommorrow is my expedition and for the past 3 months ive been volunteering at my local library. for my physical i chose netball as its something ive been doing for way over 6 months and my blog is skill part because ive been doing that for over 3 months too!

along with this, on Monday i start my work experience at my local radio station which im really excited about! for my work experience i go to my chosen place for a week of the school year to find out whether i like it and if id rnjoy it as a career.

then after that i have 2 weeks left of schhool and then its the summer holidays! i cant wait!!

~holidays~

So its the easter holidays- no school for 2 weeks. Im so happy its so nice to have relax time. For the first few days of the holidays, me and my brother went to stay at my grandma and grandad’s caravan with them. Unfortunately it rained all week but it was still super fun and it was so nice to have a bit of time with new scenery.

In the holidays, its also my birthday ‘yay!’ and the fact that its my birthday also means its teenrogue’s birthday. 2 years! I cant believe it, its actually crazy! Im planning a blog makeover but im not very sure how well it’s going to turn out so watch this space.

For my birthday im going out to a restaurant for a meal with all my friends. Super excited for that!

I also played in a netball game for my team and we won 37-5! Good way to finish the season in my opinion.
